We all know it’s not possible for children to attend the classes at this time which could result in loss of their studies. But we are really grateful to the teachers like Rani Vaid for taking the steps of providing online classes regularly for underprivileged students. We really appreciate your effort for encouraging the children to know about the science, so that even in this time children can still learn new things and their time is not completely wasted.
We are really thankful to you for giving physics classes. Thank you so much Rani ma’am
An interactive workshop on Bird-nest making was conducted by the “Sparrow man of India” Rakesh Khatri sir at our centre. EastSons’ GoodWorks kids were taught how to build nests for sparrows. The nests are made of eco-friendly materials like coconut fibre, jute thread, bamboo sticks etc. “So far, these nests have attracted quite a number of birds seeking nesting spaces,” says Mr. Rakesh, who added, “It takes just 40 minutes to learn and make the nest, but this activity stays with children life-long.” While nest-making helps children understand how birds build their homes through hard-work, patience and sheer determination, it also introduces them to the wider concept of connection with nature, and of being sensitive to animals and birds around them.
The wonderful nests that were made by our children are put up in different places around our centre.
Deforestation and urbanization often render birds homeless. As a solution for this, an environmentalist is teaching children to make artificial nests. EastSons GoodWorks will also be joining in his mission of making many more nests in the coming time to spread awareness about preserving sparrows and nature.

The impact of Covid-19 pandemic on society has been enormous. One of them is on education and learning and mainly to the kids who can’t afford internet. Keeping this in mind, we have conducted the virtual Art and Craft workshop by the help of KNMA at our center. Indeed it was really a new experience for kids but it was wonderful too.
Children enjoyed the workshop so much.
Wildlife Week is annually celebrated across India between 2nd to 8th October with an aim to protect and preserve the flora and fauna of India. The first Wildlife Week was observed in 1957. Wildlife Week 2020 marks the 66th Wildlife Week which is celebrated under the theme RoaR (Roar and Revive) – Exploring Human-Animal Relationships.
Keeping this in mind and to make our kids aware about the wildlife creatures and their importance we have also visited the Okhla Bird Sanctuary on 6th October, children were participated in play on “Save Animals’ and Photography.
This was truly a wonderful experience and learning for the kids about nature and how they are important for the earth.
We will try to visit this place again and again so that children get connect themselves with the nature and its creatures.
