Skill Development / Employment

empowerment of underprivileged women

Skill Development is a life long process and is a very crucial part of one’s success in life. It improves one’s employability as it makes one more accessible to employers as compared to the unskilled people. ESGW has not limited itself to impart non formal education to the slum dwellers, rather it goes for every possible help sought by the needy.

Under its project “ Kalaragini “ , ESGW has deployed a trainer – Miss Rajni Madhadia, who teaches special skills of Cushion Making to the women & young girls of the nearby slum area. The ladies learn how to make smocking designs on the pieces of clothes and then the clothes are sewed in the form of cushions by the tailors. Not only women are imparted training, but also they are earning while learning.
