वन्यजीव सप्ताह (Wildlife Week) के तहत EastSons GoodWorks के बच्चों ने लोगों को वन्यजीवों और पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूक करने हेतु ओखला पक्षी विहार Okhla bird sanctuary में एक नुक्कड़ नाटक प्रस्तुत किया। बच्चों के उत्साह और नाटक की उत्कृष्टता को देखते हुए उन्हें पुरस्कृत करने के लिए नामित किया गया। कुछ बच्चों को सूरजपुर जिला मजिस्ट्रेट कार्यालय (DMO) बुलाया गया जहां वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग से उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री माननीय श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने बच्चों और उनके शिक्षकों से अनेक मुद्दों पर बातचीत की।ReadMore
The impact of Covid-19 pandemic on society has been enormous. One of them is on education and learning and mainly to the kids who can’t afford internet. Keeping this in mind, we have conducted the virtual Art and Craft workshop by the help of KNMA at our center. Indeed it was really a new experience for kids but it was wonderful too. Women’s Day Celebrated with gaiety & fervor. Young girls & women of the near by slum enthusiastically participated in various cultured activities like singing, dancing, mehndi few of them also brought the home decor items Which were made by them. They shared their experiences & their views on how important is women Empowerment. Team Members were also shared their life experiences & struggles of being women. On the World Cancer Day 4th February, we organised a cancer awareness camp at our centre. In the camp, the doctors of CanSupport Organization, awared them about cancer and its symptoms. They mainly focused on breast cancer and made women aware about it.ReadMore
Little children at ESGW all dressed up in their favorite clothes meant for special occasions, when gathered at the ESGW premises, the gathering of these chirping birds itself added to the beautification of the Center. The Celebration started with the Flag hoisting by Mr. Mahesh Saxena from @Noida Lokmanch preceded by National anthem. Then came the performances one after another. Be it Speech, Songs, Dances, Nukkad Naatak or Quiz Competition, none of the performances was less than the other. Still, the Nukkad Naatak bagged the award of the Best Performance. Its theme was to bring awareness about the prevalent Crimes against Women such as Girl Foeticide, Early Child Marriage, Acid Attack, Dowry and many more. Children of EastSons GoodWorks got the opportunity to participate in an Art & craft Workshop at Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) , Saket, New Delhi. The workshop helped boost self confidence in them and were really amazed after visiting the museum and the place. Not only they had fun but also they learnt alot because painting allowed them to be more creative , imaginative and expressive, all without any kind of boundations.ReadMore
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, birth anniversary is celebrated across the world on 23rd January. ESGW also celebrated his birthday at the centre. We organised an Essay and Drawing competition , the topics were “Subhash Chandra Bose” and “The Nation”. Children were so excited and participated the competition with full enthusiasm. The winners were given prizes and at the end of the competition, everyone relished the snacks.ReadMore
Science can be fun and exciting for children if their natural curiosity about their surroundings is encouraged and they are taught by seeing, touching and learning about Scientific concepts in a fun way. ESGW is thankful to Agastya Foundation and volunteers for conducting an engaging and interactive Science Workshop. Learning through hands-on exercises, children gained a deeper understanding of various concepts such as Acid, Base & Catalyst, Gravitation , Distance, Speed, velocity , Light, Reflection, Reflection, Refraction etc. The children found the activities highly engaging & interesting.ReadMore
Adding another visit to the KNMA ,children at ESGW had a very wonderful and fun filled learning experience this time. Using clay, ring , colourful woolen sticks and glue, children learnt to make beautiful key chains and finger puppets. With a great excitement and as a thankful gesture, they flaunted their masterpieces. ESGW always emphasis on using exciting method of teaching to make study interesting not boring.ReadMore
We have a dream that our little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, status or caste but by the content of their character.
